High Bias by Michael Toland Blind Dog has no designs on re-inventing the heavy power trio concept, but that doesn't mean it has no ambition. The Swedish band simply writes good songs and performs them with finesse and conviction. Melodies growl, distortion soars and the dinosaur dances a graceful fandango on cool tunes like "Fading Memories," "Back Off" and the furious "Iron Cage." Blind Dog doesn't want to change the world; it just wants to be the best goddamn hard rock band it can be. No argument here. << Back to reviews of Captain Dog Rides Again
