This new record from Boris on Catune is the definition of solid guitar-driven ambience. Compared to earlier Boris releases this album is surprisingly mellow yet it still manages to maintain a consistent energy. This record manages to take you through a number of moods and soundscapes without actually breaking completely out of its shell - it is volatile yet contained. All previous fans of Boris should appreciate this record, along with those looking for a laid back and gooey music experience.
