Trenchants overall sound is extremely heavy yet surpisingly clean and crisp. There is only very limited use of effects, besides a few very clever vocal overdubs, and this seems to be the main focus of their sound.. Its as if their goal is to create the heaviest sound possible with just the standard guitarist, bassist, drummer and singer and thats it. No fancy effects pedals, no complex guitar overdubs, no elaborate production techniques just the raw power generated by a few guys, a healthy heap of distortion and a few really loud amplifiers!
