This CD reminds me of a lot of classic stuff, which is no wonder really...Todd Rigione used to be in a 80's band known as Liquid Jesus in the LA area...he has been around the rock scene for a while and this stuff really shows.

Mostly, comparisons for a better lack of words would range from everything resembling early Beck, Flaming Lips, Velvet Underground...some very unique guitar playing, sometimes spazzy pop, other times blistering leads. The production reminds me a lot of a Bowie record, or T-Rex...there is some definite glitter rock vibes happening.

Lots of psychedelic moments as well, and lots of great melodic vocals and strange overdubs. It's almost like organized chaos at times, diving off of the deep end. Great hooks and directional changes out of no where...

I would recommend this CD if you like good psychedelic / acoustic / electric rock. Simple pop lines, great hooks and decent production...songwriting is exceptional...what more could you ask for?
