| Into Submission (Pavement Music) That's unbelievable, how many rock bands play music in Sweden We criticized most of them (too many Kyuss rip-offs), but fortunately Astroqueen belong to the ones, you should draw attention to. I've done an interview with them in their demo years. The band developed a lot since then and most importantly found an own style. Upbeat 70's style riffage, behind a wall of fuzz is what these Swedes are all about. Astroqueen serve up healthy doses of Mountain- meets Iron Maiden- meets Pink Floyd-inspired rock. I recommend their bottom-end driven guitar Rock with an early 70's rock'n'roll influence to everybody who is digging Mountain, Sabbath and Roadsaw!! Mark / Pshychodelic zine |
