It�s got a morose, depressed vibe, yet remaining in the slow, almost-plodding tempo that�s the hallmark of doom. Unlike Rebreather, The Narrows adhere to those qualities more rigidly. After a couple of tracks in, you get the feeling you�re on death watch for someone with a flickering pulse. The production is pretty low-fi, adding to the overall mood. This is music to make yourself depressed.
