Gideon Smith and the Dixie Damned are ready to give the world a shot in the arm of raw rock and roll with southern blues roots and a true to life sense of heart and spirit. People into bands like The Cult, AC/DC, Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, old Aerosmith and Stones and looking for true rock music without the posturing and trendy cliches can look to Gideon Smith and The Dixie Damned for an addictive and exciting new fix.

Theres not a dud among the 11 tunes on this album, but I still have a couple of favorites... Whiskey Devil with its heavy boogie groove, the laidback psychedelia of Outerspace Girl, Ghost Rider with its perfect mix of laidback psychedelia and powerful riffing and Knifedance with its stonerific groove... If you like heavy southern rock you should definitely add this great album to your collection!
