Bedemon was a project of sometimes-Pentagram 2nd guitarist, the late Randy Palmer, aided by the band's vocalist Bobby Liebling and drummer Geof O'Keefe. These raw recordings from 1973-79 were never officially released until now.

At first listen, it would be easy to confuse Bedemon with Pentagram. This group was founded by Randy Palmer, one of the guitarists for the seminal doom band, and the songs that appear on Child of Daarkness feature Pentagram drummer Geof O�Keefe and vocalist Bobby Liebling. But there�s a noticeable difference. Bedemon is much doomier in sound than Pentagram. Credit goes to the late Palmer who composed all of the tracks. Production wise it�s similar to side two of Pentagram�s First Daze Here Too - raw and unpolished. A little bit more clarity would�ve helped the overall effect, but as the extensive notes (courtesy of O�Keefe) explain, the recordings were done with limited technical knowledge. Fans of Pentagram need to hear this gem, as it�s some solid doom and helps paint a picture of what the early doom scene was like.
