Ive seen a whole bunch of gigs over the last couple of years, but no matter how many gigs Ive seen, the best one is still Half Man (at the DIST festival). No other band can combine blues, psychedelic and early 70s style hard rock to that perfection (both live and on records)... theres a few that comes close, but Half Man still takes the cake.

Big fat grooves and psychedelic riffs. Blues and doom are the main elements, classic rock with a new edge is another good way to describe it. You can call it progressive or whatever, the grooves are as thick and heavy as Sour Vein, the vocals are a soulful smooth nice addition to the overall mix. Overall a great CD- if you like the sounds of southern blues/doom of a more progressive type, check this out. Half Man could easily fit on a bill between Raging Slab and Sour Vein, if that paints a better picture for you. Great grooves and psychedelic drenched.

Red Herring was a long and suffered work which all those who were involved (musicians, technicians, graphic artists, producers...) gave the best of their professional attitudes and devotion to. These joint efforts led to the creation of an album which will outstand in the history of today's rock. A special care has been taken with the sound, in order to achieve a sorta sixties taint suitable for the listener to fit with the vintage flavour of extraordinary 'groove' mantained throughout.
