Fistula are back at it again with their blood thinning heart pounding pummeling math hardcore doom riffs...this stuff is in the vein of Bongzilla or early Neurosis, progressive hardcore doom if you will.

The Music on Fistula's latest 'Idiopathic' is just completely pummeling from beginning to end. Some of it is slow throttling tuned down doom reminiscent of Man is the Bastard with on the edge of the seat movement after movement, and a lot of the riffs are driving hard rock sludge with angular progressions...and plenty of hardcore teeth gritting vocals over the whole mix. Great stuff and a great album if you are into bands like Bongzilla. Recommended for all you Eyehategod fans too, this one shouldn't disappoint you at all.

Goddamn! 9 tracks of pulverizing sludge, played with much more aggression and speed than "Hymns of Slumber." No samples on this one, just riff after riff and hate-filled vocals by the lungful.
