Drummer Antton (Cronos' brother), guitarist Mykvs (Mike Hickey, ex-Carcass and ex-Cronos, the band) and Cronos of course on bass and roaring vocals deliver a tremendous piece of work. Venom continues in the style of the heavy edged songs from their previous album, Resurrection. The album's opener falls down like a sudden storm and the heavy weather stays on til the very end. Heavy riffs, pounding and fast drums with the strong voice and thundering bass of Cronos on top. Cronos' voice is as impressive as always, time had no influence on that. This is fast, rough and still evil, which is how I want to hear Venom.
