Now Plaster is a band after my own heart! If I were a talented musician (which Im not!) my goal would be to create an album very much like Long Way From Earth. Its got all the elements of great psychedelic spacey rock music. Including, but not limited to, excessive wah-wah peddle action and delay effects, long and trippy interludes, lyrics that focus mainly on space travel and fantasy worlds and an endless array of fuzzy riffs and groovy hooks.

IMO, the main ingredients in this successful brew are Spirit Caravan and Hawkwind. In fact, there are a few tunes that almost sound like outtakes from "Jug Full of Sun." And the use of echo, space/science fiction lyrics, and mind-death distortion have Hawkwind written all over them.
