This is music to kill yourself to, preferably in a drawn-out, painful way. Considering that the band features members of Eyehategod, that shouldn�t be much of a surprise. Send Out the Dogs doesn�t live in the same down tuned murky sludge of Eyehategod, but it definitely conveys the same misery. Hawg Jaw brings speed to the proceedings. On some tracks, the band breaks away from the solid wall of distortion and chokes out some cleaner noise that sounds just as harsh. If you�re looking for a new soundtrack to your personal aggression, my recommendation is to pick this up.

Heavy, ugly, nasty hardcore shit with a recognizable NOLA influence.

Send Out the Dogs is an incredible album! Imagine if Eyehategod had more of The Accused as an influence, not as slow and dirgey, but more mid paced and punkish. Similar to Outlaw Order which makes sense since Gary from Hawg Jaw is both in Eyehategod and Outlaw Order. Excellent!
