| 28 january 2006 : On Wednesday the 25th of Januari 2006 Cowboys & Aliens had the honour to play the support for the legendary Deep Purple. The show was sold out weeks before so 8000 fans created a sweltering heat in Vorst Nationaal, the theatre of dreams for Belgian rock concerts. We did our fair part of big gigs already but when that crowd cheered as we came on stage something strange happened and it turned the band into a hungry sonic machine. I think it's fair to say that Cowboys & Aliens were living proof that night that the legacy of bands such as Deep Purple lives on even in the 21st century. |

Other than the everlasting drummer history it is with a sad feeling I have to announce the leaving of John Pollentier, my co- founder and friend, as guitarist in Cowboys & Aliens. John was eager to find new horizons and was not longer happy with some musical decisions within our band. Our ways parted as good friends and we wish John all the best with his upcoming new projects. We are sure that, just like our first drummer Peter Gaelens found his destination with awesome metal band Distorted, John will appear with something we all will be very proud of. We love you, John and I especially want to thank you for 9 wonderful years. It was a hell of a ride.
So we took a fresh start with this new line up. We will continue as a four piece band and starting from Friday onwards with our show in �t Oud Liefken and Saturday at Rock Ternat we will prove our fans that we are more alive than ever with kicking some serious ass �

| 27 july 2005 : It�s been two months now since we released �Language of Superstars� and maybe it�s time for a quick round up of all activities and experiences we had in that period. We gave the first unofficial start already back in March when we did a super gig in Liege, for the first time in the new line up. |

Peter and Mario joined in
and felt what it means to
do a Cowboys & Aliens show. It�s a sweaty,
physically demanding, intense business. Contact with the fans was
so great that we are looking forward to go back again to the
French speaking part of our country as soon as possible. Due to
his overloaded agenda with Triggerfinger and Winterville Mario was
not always able to join us on drums but he was superbly replaced
by Marcus Weymaere, a great guy out of the city of Mons not only
known for his drumming but also for his excellent choice of rock
& roll vehicles.
By May it was time for the serious stuff. We were expected to support Danzig in Tilburg (Holland) and the Schwung Festival was also on the agenda, two important shows for the band. The Danzig show was in one word disappointing. I was stressed, tired and as a band we lacked cohesion. It was certain that we would be looking for revenge at our cd release party at The Starz Club & certainly at the Schwung festival, a classic rock festival with the likes of Saxon, Europe and The Scorpions on the bill. And we did just that. A 45 min heavy rock show convinced a crowd of 7000 hard rocking fans at the Roeselare Halls�Afterwards it was time for a dazzling after party with press and fans and the whole Apache Team. It was an impressive experience. Highlight however was our second appearance in two years at the Graspop Festival, a 3- day heavy metal festival held this year in the blazing sun. Showtime was set on Friday around 5 in the afternoon. We hit the road at half past twelve�and found ourselves still stuck up in traffic 15 minutes before we were expected on stage. A police escort dragged us out just in time and with 40 fucking degrees on the thermometer we hit the stage�and we hammered down the audience so relentlessly �Het Nieuwsblad� described our performance as �sublime� in their national edition. Afterwards the after party was fatally intense for yours truly. I�m without any doubt the biggest stress ball of us all and I�m still wondering if it was the Jack Daniel�s / wodka cocktail or the kiss I gave Sharon Den Adel from Within Temptation which caused me to black out. Just last Saturday we headlined the Frontline festival with our good friends from Astrosoniq. From all the great bands we got to know over the years our friends from Oss are still regarded as our soul mates. It has been a while since we appeared on the same bill but I can�t wait to play with them again. We salute you, Astro�s! A big cheers too for our friends from Southern Voodoo featuring Do De Vos, the guy who got us to sign our first record deal six years ago. Other people I would like to thank: Mario & Corry from Apache, Jan Papeliers, the mighty Wim Van Der Haegen, Serge & Natacha, and our wives and girlies. The tour will go on, more shows are to be confirmed pretty soon, so keep in touch with your favourite groove rockers Cowboys & Aliens! Thanks,

Productions press release : Finally, after months of weigh and
ways, the Bruges based band Cowboys & Aliens will release their new
album through Apache Productions.
Drummer
Mario Goossens who helped out the band as a studio musician with the
recordings for the new album will also join C&A during live gigs. The
much sought-after drummer (Hooverphonic / Triggerfinger) was very
impressed with the final result and decided early 2005 to join Belgium�s
# 1 groove-rock crew.
Earlier
on producer Peter Iterbeke (former Channel Zero / Feed guitarist) who
worked continuously with the band for the past months during pre-recording
and mixing sessions also decided to join the Cowboys & Aliens lineup
permanently.
The album, entitled �Language of Superstars� is set for a may 23 th release and will definitely feature some surprising new musical elements. In the meantime Cowboys & Aliens have been confirmed for the upcoming Schwung Festival which will take place upcoming may 21st at Roeselare (Belgium) together with bands such as Scorpions, Saxon , Soul Sirkus (and more) and they will also support Danzig at the AB(box) in Brussels upcoming April 4th 2005.

All our recent drummer perils must be rather confusing and are in fact
reaching "Spinal Tap" like proportions lately so here's te lowdown. The
problems started back in september 2003 when long time drummer Peter
G. left ... and it never seemed to stop ever since. First Johan V. joined
C&A. He was an excellent drummer but things didn't worked out quite well. Then Thailonious came along, we loved the guy immediately but somehow he thought he couldn't live up to the expectations. Mario G. helped us out in the studio whilst recording the new album and |

& Aliens to join Distorted we still have an excellent relationship.So when Peter feels like it, it's not unthinkable we will be reunited on stage in the future when Mario is not available. It might seem confusing but we are very happy to know we can count on drumheads such as Mario and Peter.
| 10 February 2005 : Everything has been quite silent in the C&A camp but right now we are very close to a decision about a label and stuff. At the end of this week we'll hopefully have an answer to all your questions. Fact is the band chooses to release the record as soon as possible so that narrows the options a bit. Anyway, we can tell you that we are very busy with rehearsing 'cause we start touring with the new songs om march 26th and our new line up will feature Peter Iterbeke (ex Channel Zero / Feed) as guitarist alongside founding member John Pollentier and Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger & Hooverphonic) on drums, Rock 'n Roll !!! |

| 25 December 2004 : We are proud to announce that the new record is finished. Last wednesday our management Apache Productions, producer Peter Iterbeke and our guitarist John went to Amsterdam to master the songs at Attie Bouw's place. Attie is famous for his work with Channel Zero, Judas Priest & Rob Halford, Gorefest etc. Unfortuntaly we cannot set a release date yet. During the recording process, the band and its management broke with long time label Buzzvile. We still love the guys @ Buzzville but as things moved on we both felt we were not always on the same level anymore. Apache supported us all the way so we are now at their mercy but we have no doubt that they will find us a fine deal very soon. |

| October 2004 : Cowboys & Aliens are proud to introduce Thailonious Monster as the new drummer! Thailonious Monster is also the drummer for local (Bruges) based rock band GenElectric. Earlier rumours claiming that GenElectric was about to break up have been denied by Mr. Thailonious himself who seems determinded to keep on rocking with both bands. | From now on Cowboys & Aliens will be managed by Apache Productions who's also responsible for the management of bands such as Oceans Of Sadness / Native Instinct and Fuzz. Apache Productions is a relatively new agency who concentrates on managment, booking and vocal / instrumental training |

| 07 september 2004 : From today onwards, the new Buzzville Records website will be online at www.buzzville.be. | 24 may 2004 : We are proud to announce that Cowboys & Aliens won the finals of the Rocktribune / Graspop Concours 2004 which means we are gonna play during Belgium's biggest Hard-Rock / Metal festival ! The Graspop Metal Meeting is a three day event and Cowboys and Aliens are set to open the festival on friday 25 june 2004 at the Marquee stage. | 09 april 2004 : Cowboys & Aliëns reached the finals of this years "Rocktribune Graspop Concours" which means we are set to play at the Biebob (Vosselaar) on saturday May 22nd with 4 other finalists (In-Quest / Madra Lyss / Southern Voodoo / Thurisaz). 80 Belgian rockbands entered the competition of which the before mentioned 5 bands reached the finals. The winner on May 22nd will feature on this years Graspop Metal Meeting, Belgium's biggest Hard-Rock festival which is scheduled for June 25th / 26th / 27th 2004. | October 2003 : Cowboys & Aliens welcomes aboard new drummer Johan Van De Sijpe, who is not unknown in the Flemish Rock / Blues & Jazz circuit. It's been Johan's wish to join a Heavy band for quite some time now so the vacant drumseat at the C & A camp was a perfect opportunity. The first liveshow with Johan @ Chrashfest was a blast so the future's looking bright, let's Rock ! |

| September 2003 : Unfortunately long time drummer Peter G. decided to leave the band due to musical differences. His decision came as a shock for the three remaining bandmembers, especially seeing the fact Cowboys & Aliens has always been a bunch of close friends in the first place and a rockband in close second place. We respect Peter's decision though and parted ways as good friends. It's been a hell of a ride with tons of good memories, good luck Peter. |
