Featuring the last five songs ever recorded (circa 1999) by the legendary and much-missed Welsh stoned heavy groove outfit, Acrimony! As well as two tracks from an unreleased early single and two other misery-laden tracks for a total of four (all from 1996) by Japan's reigning sons of serial-doom, Church of Misery!

Nicely done split CD, both bands really strutting their own here. Acrimony with their drone riff upon doom/blues riff style similar to Acid King's assault of groove upon groove of pure evil classic sludge. Church of Misery with their good hooks and just heavy ass classic rock drenched goodness. My only complaint being these cats each should have just done their own full length!

This CD is just plain awesome. People have been waiting 4 years to hear Acrimony's last tracks, and they don't disappoint. They were one of the best bands when Stoner Rock was first emerging as a genre. With Church of Misery you will not be able to avoid banging your head or tapping your toes when you hear it. The music is spectacular.
