It's like listening to Ritchie Blackmore and Jimmy Page paying tribute to Captain Beyond, while Ronnie James Dio and John Lawton trade vocals.

The Quill are the perfect hard rock/metal/stoner crossover band. If your taste wallows exclusively in oppressively thick, depressing, doomy music you definitely won't get it. These guys blend the Sabbathy riffs with a totally upbeat, rockin' kinda sound.

The Quill pretty much play early-Black Sabbath/Blue Cheer style stoner rock. Their sound is complete with thick riff driven guitars, a pounding rhythmic bass structure around live ambient sounding drums played heavily to enhance the overall structure of the noise laden atmosphere.
