Q: What's the difference between MeteorCity Direct and the All That's Heavy Store? A: All That's Heavy is our online retail store where we sell product to the general public at retail prices. MeteorCity Direct is our distribution company where we sell product direct to real-world retailers and online retailers at wholesale prices. Q: What is the minimum order required to order through MeteorCity Direct? A: The minimum order for ordering through MeteorCity Direct is 25 items. (IE: 1 CD = 1 item, 1 LP = 1 item, 1 Shirt = 1 item etc etc) NOTE: We do realize that some of the smaller specialty stores out there may not be able to meet this minimum order requirement. If you are genuinely a retailer and would like to place a smaller order please email El Danno for details. Q: I don't own a store - can I order through MeteorCity Direct anyways? A: Yes! The only requirement to ordering through MeteorCity Direct is that you order 25 items or more per order. Q: Is it safe to order online from MeteorCity Direct with my credit card? A: Yes! We use secure servers for all of our transactions. Although, there is a certain level of risk involved with using your credit card online, the risk is very minimal. So minimal in fact that we have never had a problem with stolen credit card numbers or fraud since MeteorCity opened it's virtual doors in 1997. Q: I don't have a credit card. Can I order with cash, money order or check? A: We provide these alternative options for shopping at MeteorCity Direct without a credit card: Western Union: Western Union is a great way to send us cash without the hassle of purchasing and mailing a money order! Please make all Checks and Money Orders payable to Dan Beland and not to MeteorCity Direct (email El Danno for details) Personal Check: At this time we do not accept personal checks due to the fact that they take too much time to clear and they can bounce. Business Check: Yes, we accept business checks. A: We do not offer 30 day terms anymore. All orders must be placed via our online ordering system or if you would like to pay by check then please email me (El Danno) at [email protected]. Q: How do I find out how much the shipping will cost before placing my order? A: Unfortunately there is no way for us to calculate your shipping before we know what you're ordering and where we're shipping it to. But, if you add the items that you would like to purchase to your shopping cart and proceed to the "checkout" you will be presented with the cost of shipping *before* you commit to your order. Q: What are my shipping options and how soon will my order arrive? A: Shipping in the USA: In the United States we ship via USPS Priority Mail which guarantees that your package will arrive at your door between 1 and 3 days after it's shipped to anywhere in the country. We also ship in the USA via USPS Media Mail which is much cheaper but takes a few days longer. You may also purchase insurance for either shipping method which guarantees that you'll be reimbursed by USPS for the value of your order in the event that your order is lost or damaged in the mail. You can add insurance to your order by checking the insurance checkbox when you're presented with shipping options during the ordering process. We strongly recommend insuring large orders. Shipping Internationally: For international orders we ship via USPS Air Mail which usually takes between 1 and 2 weeks to arrive in most countries. We also provide International Economy/Surface Mail for international orders which costs much less but takes 4-6 weeks to arrive at your door.
