Accolades for Self Titled
Heavy metal isn't descriptive enough about this CD- it's got angles that remind of the first Sleep record and it has lots of bizarre changes that keep you guessing what lies around the corner. The guitars are tuned down and crunchy- and the tones/production is thick, as it should be. Mad man Billy Anderson is in the band, and also produced the record. Vocal approach is over the top hardcore screaming reminiscent of Man is the Bastard, or Neurosis.
