The Elope side is my favorite. Consisting of more of the serious sounding psychedelic stuff that is guitar oriented... Very Beatles/Pink Floyd mid 60's stuff...but with it's own flare. It carries a pop feel to it that reminds me of a sweet spot between the aforementioned and Elton John, or the later Quasi if you are familiar with them. It has lot's of cool blues based guitar stuff, with tons of falsetto vocals and weird major to minor chord changes...thick multi-tracked vocal lines that both Paul McCartney and Brian Wilson could surely appreciate. This side will definitely get repeated plays around here...It's not all mellow and laid back, it has some upbeat moments that remind me of Bowie or Budgie...strange and cool.

A good fit for fans of the Big Elf and Wellwater Conspiracy brand of psychedelic-pop rock.. Elope is about as close as you're gonna get to a modern band that sounds like the Beatles! This is one of those amazing records that almost no one really knows anything about!
