Accolades for Jam Room (Re-issue)
This album has a very "live" vibe to it, capturing the essence of Clutch's live improvs and jams, and explores some diverse styles. This cd will take you on a non stop swamp boogie rockin stomp thru Clutch's world. If you like old Zeppelin with a little Sabbath in there get this cd..NOW!!!
One thing for people to keep in mind when listening to "Jam Room" is that no two songs sound the same, (other than "Release the Kraken" and "Release the Dub", of course.) "Basket of Eggs" is a 20 ton heavy track that Neil Fallon wrote himself, but Neil also wrote the insanely different "Gnome Enthusiast". "Swampboat Upside Down" is a bluesy instrumental piece, but "Who Wants To Rock" is a 75 second ... rock thing. In other words, "Jam Room" is impossible to describe; it is meant to be experienced.
