Accolades for Start the Machine
Fu Manchu still has a thirst for fuzzy guitars, big riffs, laid back vocals, spaced out and wailing guitar leads. Scott Hill's vocals are stronger than they have ever been and there's a lot of really great riff packed songs.
It's darker. It's meaner. It goes for less obvious pop hooks. The vocals are more aggressive. The drumming is pretty primal. It's got a good groove, and a couple really killer riffs.
This is a mix of California Crossing and King of the Road.
