Accolades for Self Titled
They're definitely a take on the progressive, psychedelic hardcore type of thing Neurosis does but they do it extremely well. Like latter-era Isis, they do this style in a more accessible and song-oriented manner.
Post-metal hardcore, with many songs turning into long, atmospheric, droning affairs. Either they have two vocalists, or a guy who has some versatility in his voice.
The Swedish made band, hailing from the same hometown as Meshuggah and the Refused feature a sound in the same vein as fellow noise-core bands, Isis, Converge and Neurosis. A sound which is an interesting mix of post-hardcore, Opeth style death-metal and 21st century production. In comparison to their most renowned album this shows a different side to the band more extreme and more experimental.
