Man-oh-man! This is definitely one of the coolest CDs that's just showed up in my mailbox out of nowhere! Before last week I hadn't heard of Black Lamb and now I've spun this self released CD EP about 4 dozen times! If you're into Unida and/or The Cult then you gotta check these guys out! Black Lamb is definitely along those lines but with a slightly slower tempo and bluesier edge! High quality stuff! I'm sure I'll be hearing a lot more about these guys in the future!

If you like heavy good soulful rock with strong hooks and top notch musicianship, then check out Black Lamb...their sound is definitely classic hard rock influenced and hits you like a ton of bricks right off the bat.

This 5 song EP (or LP?) from these obvious veterans of rock don't stop from beginning to end. If you dig the vocals of Unida, Monster Magnet's Superjudge or Danzig's first self titled LP, chances are that you will dig Black Lamb.

Overall this album reminds me of an album you could file between Danzig's stuff and the first Sugartooth record...simple, classic riffs ala Sabbath and AC DC, thick naturally overdriven guitar tones and tons of soul...what more could you really ask for? Check it out...it fucking rocks.
