Queen Bee - Girl on Top

The royally inclined Queen Bee makes their three-piece home in the Detroit area. This band has been kicking around attitude induced songs since 1998. There is an overall sexy attitude, as well, due in large part to the lead vocalist, Karen Neal, aka Queen Bee. These sexually charged rockers do not show any signs of stopping.

This rip snorting 12 track monster, utilizes female and male vocals. The riffs are loud and mean; the use of the power chord is very much in prevalence. The overall sound is typical of what has come out of Detroit over the past 40 years. There’s distortion, catchy melodies, and all out rock and roll. There are punky sounds to metal sounds, while not losing a good sense of melody.

Queen Bee exhibits all the qualities that makes up a good rock band, there is rocking and of course rolling. The melodies abound and the attitude is ever-present.
