Dance of the Lemmings

Do anybody know the old German heavy rock freaks Amon Duul 2. If stoners hear this music, shit damn sure you gonna dig the crunch is leaves on your back head. Try first Tanze Der Lemminge (Dance of the Lemming) double LP with fucking riffs from a mighty warrior on acid. This record ever evolving with chiming racket of guitars and a drummer sometime two drummer both think they are Keith Moon. Lead guitar and rhythm guitar at the same time with collision of feedback and no blues. Imagine no blues riffs. Like Scorpions with no cliché and no stupid Klaus Meine. Excellent fuck for the head. Record sleeve conveys magic and mystery and mysteriousness of women giants carressing you as a man child to her huge erotic bosom. Excellent sleeve to stare at as you sink within fumes of pot and bedroom disappearing into background of your life. Sometimes electronics of old timer synthesiser psuhes lewd guitars into outer space and riff ever revolving begins again. Thinking am I still alive you race for vinyl to swap side over, but only in your head. Reality? You are still on the bed unable to move. Excellent. For me they are an sect malignant of powerful desart magical and worship, and occupy in my head the larger place. To Amon Duul 2 I will be the lemming, and myself lead astray.

You rule Wally!

I got my first thing by them, "Yeti", a week or two ago and it's wicked. I'll look for "Tanze Der Lemminge".

Yeti rules. I need Lemmings. Wolf City is freaky good. Been really getting into Phallus Dei lately too.

Carnival in Babylon has one of the best band photos ever.

I've been meaning to look into Amon Duul II but never have. Their cds are very expensive & hard to find. My turntable sucks so that's not an option.

Download some from audiogalaxy - there should be some of the Düül there.

The albums mentioned are basically the ones to get. The late 70s albums are not very good IMO.
